Viana is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She attended The University of Florida, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and minored in Education. She later attended The University of Texas at Austin earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. Viana completed her advanced clinical training hours in the school social work practice field. Viana has experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings including several schools, inpatient mental health hospitals and an outpatient private practice. Viana enjoys providing parent-coaching and family therapy in Spanish and English, and loves helping children develop emotional insight and a sense of efficacy. Her approach to therapy is warm, client-centered and trauma informed. She provides a non-judgemental, collaborative and compassionate environment for individuals to gain skills to improve their relationships and enhance their lives.
Vida Clinic specializes in school-based mental health and provides a range of services that include individual, family, and group counseling; teacher training and consultation groups; school-wide workshops and trauma-informed culture building.
