Tremisha is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience providing therapeutic services to adults, children, and families within schools, inpatient, and outpatient clinical settings. Tremisha works with her clients from a strengths-based, positive, and affirming perspective and believes that everyone is unique, bringing with them their own personal experiences, needs, and cultural background that shapes their world. Her approach is eclectic, involving various therapy techniques, while incorporating CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), client -centered, and trauma informed practices to meet each individual’s needs. Tremisha provides a non-judgmental environment that fosters a collaborative relationship where her client’s autonomy is respected and encouraged. Tremisha is passionate about reducing the stigma associated with mental health and increasing the accessibility to quality mental health services to those in need. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, relational stressors, and adjustment to life transitions from a culturally competent framework. In her free time, Tremisha enjoys spending time with her twin boys, cheering for the Houston Rockets, and reading a good book.
