Susan Wondra, LPC, CCTP, NCC
Susan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) helping individuals manage issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, social problems, and adjustment to life transitions with over 8 years of clinical experience. While her main area of focus is individual therapy with adolescents and adults, she has experience as a career counselor, has worked with children and families in the foster care and CPS system, juvenile probation, substance abuse programs, and school-based therapy programs in the Austin area. Susan believes therapy is an opportunity for individuals and families to work through challenges that are interfering with living a healthy and positive life. She is passionate about sharing these services with individuals who are at-risk of victimization and reducing barriers to treatment, and her approach is to empower her clients while on their therapeutic journey. Susan completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Master’s Degree in Counseling and has training in various therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. In addition, she was a Psychology Instructor for four years at a local college where she taught the General Psychology, Social Psychology, and Human Sexuality courses. In her free time Susan enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing with her pup, Bentley.
