Sarah Wyatt, LCSW
Clinical Therapist

Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 7 years experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to primarily adolescents and adults. She has worked in many settings including intensive inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, and schools. Sarah’s approach to therapy is both relational and skills based. It is most important to her to develop a relationship with her clients that is authentic and non-judgmental to create a safe space for exploring thoughts and feelings that may otherwise feel too overwhelming or scary to face on your own.

Sarah implements a variety of evidenced-based interventions in therapy to help clients meet their individual goals including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), expressive and art therapy techniques, mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-informed care. Her expertise include depression, anxiety, trauma, social skills, stress management, self-esteem, and life adjustment and transition issues. Sarah is an LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist.

Sarah is passionate about meeting clients exactly where they are while supporting growth and positive change. She knows that each client has individual strengths and all they need within themselves to heal and cope. She appreciates clients’ unique personalities and cultures and feels getting to know and work with so many different people is the best part of her work. She believes in access to quality, affordable mental health care for everyone.

Sarah graduated with a Bachelors in Social Work from Lamar University in 2012 and a Masters of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas in 2015. Sarah has completed intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and trauma-informed therapy. When she is not practicing therapy, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, live music, reading, being in nature, and traveling.
