Sarah Wyatt, LCSW

Sarah is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 7 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various fields such as child welfare, community mental health, substance abuse treatment, residential psychiatric care and school-based mental health. Sarah received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Lamar University and went on to pursue her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas- Austin. In her practice, Sarah incorporates many evidenced-based techniques to best meet the needs of the individual including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with emphasis on mindfulness and self-compassion. Her experience includes treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, substance use disorders, social problems, autism spectrum disorders, and grief/loss. Sarah is passionate about empowering others and creating a therapeutic relationship in which all clients feel safe and heard. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, yoga, live music, reading, and being outdoors.
