Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. Samantha has 12 years experience working with children and families in the child welfare system and has been a counselor for 5 years. Samantha believes that a safe and trusting space is the foundation for therapeutic work and uses a collaborative, strength-based approach with her clients. Samantha specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families and provides individual, group, and family therapy. Samantha is trained in Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), and her practice is informed by many various techniques and strategies, allowing her to individualize services to meet the needs of each client. Samantha focuses on issues related to trauma, behavior concerns, anxiety, depression, social problems, and adjustment to life transitions. In her free time, Samantha enjoys cooking, hiking, trying new foods, and spending time with family.
