Nadine is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with more than ten years of experience working with families and their children in educational, medical and non-profit settings. She studied public relations and Spanish at Texas State University, and taught public school children for two years before earning her master’s degree in social work at the University of Texas at Austin. Nadine works with children and the adults that care for them in individual, family, and group counseling capacities. Nadine utilizes a strengths based and collaborative approach in working with clients. She has a special interest in incorporating mindfulness, self compassion and yoga in this work. In her free time, Nadine enjoys spending time with her husband and two children exploring the wide ranging cultural opportunities of the Hill Country.
Vida Clinic specializes in school-based mental health and provides a range of services that include individual, family, and group counseling; teacher training and consultation groups; school-wide workshops and trauma-informed culture building.
