Megan Plagman McWilliams, LCSW, MPH
School-Based Clinical Therapist

Megan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Tulane University. She studied Psychology at Loyola University New Orleans prior to attending Tulane and spent six years working in Louisiana schools. Megan utilizes a trauma-informed approach with her work and is passionate about promoting trauma-informed systems of care throughout school communities. Megan works with individuals, families, and groups to promote healing and build resiliency. Her focus is on trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief and loss, and life adjustment concerns. Megan utilizes a strengths-based approach to therapy providing a compassionate environment for students and families to grow. Megan loves incorporating creativity into therapy and is soon to be a registered yoga teacher. In her free time Megan enjoys the natural beauty Austin has to offer while hiking and camping, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
