Liz Grant, LCSW
School-Based Clinical Therapist

Liz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with five years of experience working with adolescents and adults in various fields such as child welfare, substance abuse treatment, family mediation, and youth in foster care. Liz received a Bachelor’s of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and later received her Master’s of Science in Social Work from New York University. Liz worked in Chicago for 4 years with youth aging out of the foster care system before relocating to Austin in 2017. She uses a strengths-based approach with all clients and strives to create a non-judgmental therapy environment as a basis for developing rapport. Liz is passionate about creating a collaborative therapeutic relationship with her clients and personalizing treatment for each individual. Liz incorporates various techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, and mindfulness to meet each client where they are at. Outside of work, Liz enjoys being active, cooking, and trying new restaurants.
