Lindsay is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with experience working with children, teens, and families in schools, as well as inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. She studied psychology at the University of North Texas before earning her master’s degree in counseling at Texas State University. Lindsay works to create a non-judgmental space where her clients can feel safe to build trusting relationships and process their life experiences. She believes providing care for both children and their support systems is a vitally important to the wellbeing of a child. Lindsay works primarily with children and teens, offering individual, family and group counseling services. She uses a collaborative, strength-based approach with her clients, and enjoys incorporating mindfulness, sensory play, sandtray and art into her therapeutic interventions. She believes play is the primary language for young children and uses play therapy to help children build resiliency and heal from adversity. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys hiking, exploring new restaurants and picnicking at Zilker Park.
Vida Clinic specializes in school-based mental health and provides a range of services that include individual, family, and group counseling; teacher training and consultation groups; school-wide workshops and trauma-informed culture building.
