Leslie is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who has found her passion working with children and families within the school setting. After earning her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin, Leslie began her social work career with Communities in Schools at Oak Springs Elementary and later served the Eanes ISD community at Valley View Elementary as a licensed mental health professional. Leslie believes that the therapeutic relationship is the most important element in helping clients feel heard and understood and to that end, she strives to provide a safe, relaxing, non-judgmental space for clients to explore various issues in their lives. Leslie uses a variety of techniques and approaches to individualize services for families and children and has particular interest in play therapy, trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy and expressive arts therapies. In her free time, Leslie enjoys spending time with family and friends, listening to live jazz music, travelling and being a mom to her two adventurous boys.
