Kellie Wylie, LCSW
Kellie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than seven years of experience working in school, residential and outpatient treatment settings providing crisis intervention and individual and family therapy. Populations of focus have included primarily adolescent, family and adults. Kellie gained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work through Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. She has a background in being a part of multidisciplinary teams offering person-centered and trauma-informed approaches. Kellie specializes in addressing challenges related to anxiety, depression, and trauma through a combination of solution-focused work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR). Her personal theoretical orientation involves unconditional positive regard and having a collaborative partnership where an individual can be empowered through their inherent strengths. She believes all individuals have the capacity for growth and that everyone should have access to mental health care, especially during critical life transitions. In her free time, Kellie enjoys staying active through traveling, hiking, kayaking and spending time with friends and family.
