Katelyn is pursuing her Masters in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling at Texas State University. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and specializes in a systems and relational perspective with an emphasis on couples and families. She wants to help others process their relationships, what they desire for their future self, and rejoin families together to communicate in a positive and constructive way. She believes that the goal of counseling would be to live a life with control over what the mind and body does daily and to feel empowered making changes that are necessary to feeling satisfied. Katelyn enjoys using humor as a therapeutic tool within counseling and thinks that finding the right words can be hard, so she has a feeling wheel available to figure things out in session!
