Christine is a licensed clinical social worker. She has provided school-based mental health and social work services in Austin schools since graduating from the University of Texas at Austin 26 years ago. Christine believes that all human beings are innately good and hold great potential, and that life experiences such as trauma can prevent individuals from the quality of life they deserve. She uses a strengths-based, client-centered approach to support the individual in healing and overcoming barriers to wellness. Her experience includes working individually with kids and teens, as well as with groups and families. In her free time, Christine enjoys spending time with her family, and taking day trips to explore state parks, rivers, and all that Central Texas has to offer.
Vida Clinic specializes in school-based mental health and provides a range of services that include individual, family, and group counseling; teacher training and consultation groups; school-wide workshops and trauma-informed culture building.
