Cherita is a graduate of Arizona State University where she received her Masters in Social Work degree. Cherita is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and is under the supervision of Derek Tuley, LCSW-S. She has been in the social work field for 11 years working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including child welfare, foster care and adoption, intensive outpatient, schools, and victim crisis center. She is compassionate about helping others solve and cope with problems that impact their everyday lives. With her non-judgmental approach and meeting clients where they’re at, she helps clients and families achieve their goals, overcome adversity, and reach their full potential. Cherita uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help people examine their thoughts and feelings that can get in the way of them from reaching their potential. When she is not helping people, Cherita enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
