Carrie Ohl, LCSW
School-Based Clinical Therapist

Carrie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 10 years experience in both school and mental health settings. She studied psychology and engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) at Loyola University Chicago. Carrie has a passion for working with children and adolescents and building safe and trusting relationships. She believes that a strong therapeutic alliance is the catalyst for client change and resilience. Carrie uses a strength-based and collaborative approach, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques. Her experience working as a school social worker in Chicago and Austin has allowed her to help clients and families navigate within the school system. Carrie specializes in working with ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, trauma, grief and loss, social problems, and self-esteem challenges. Carrie is a mother of 2 boys and enjoys running, music, and yoga in her free time.
