Alexandra Rudy, LPC School-Based Clinical Therapist
Alex is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with experience working in high school, university, and community counseling settings providing individual, group, and family therapy. She studied psychology at St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX before earning her Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Adler University in Chicago, IL. Alex strives to provide an environment in which growth is tangible. She views therapy as a collaborative process that involves developing new perspectives, healthy coping skills, and problem-solving mechanisms. Alex uses a person-centered, strength-based approach to tailor the therapeutic experience to meet the needs of those impacted by anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, grief and loss, trauma, school-related issues, and life transitions. In her free time, Alex is an outdoorsy person who enjoys reading, running, and spending time with friends, family, and her pup.
Vida Clinic specializes in school-based mental health and provides a range of services that include individual, family, and group counseling; teacher training and consultation groups; school-wide workshops and trauma-informed culture building.
