Aisha Charles, JD, LCSW
Aisha is a graduate of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles where she received her Master of Arts in Social Work. Prior to becoming a social worker, Aisha worked in the legal field advocating on behalf of undocumented persons and other social justice issues. Her relational approach offers support during challenging life transitions to help you heal and grow. Aisha uses different evidenced based practices (such as CBT and EMDR), coupled with cultural responsiveness to lend support with trauma, anxiety, depression, immigration, and women's issues.
With Aisha, you can expect a safe space that offers empowerment, cultural awareness and responsiveness, strength building, the opportunity to learn new coping skills, increased self-awareness, and a supportive environment. Aisha endeavors to bring her transparency and openness to every session, aiming to create a safe space for clients.
In her free time, she loves to cook, travel, and spend time with her family, which includes her two dogs.
